PEKO offers a mechanical engineering services department specializing in machinery, equipment, and testing.
In this department, PEKO utilizes the latest 3D modeling platforms including CREO, Solidworks, and Inventor to brainstorm concepts and analyze designs. PEKO then completes final print packages implementing GD&T as necessary for production releases. We participate with our customers in developing their designs, products, and systems for customers in nearly every industry sector.
PEKO mechanical engineers have participated in providing solutions on highly detailed, well-defined specifications and requirements, just as well as paper napkin sketches and whiteboard scribbling. A clear understanding of critical parameters and their impact on functionality is a common theme in the development of customer equipment products and prototypes.

The mechanical engineering services team at PEKO is part of the new product introduction division. Engineers in this group are highly trained in bringing new machinery and equipment to market. The staff consists of over 20 mechanical engineers and technicians. The group is supported by tool room manufacturing, electricians, toolmakers, and various other personnel to bring new machinery designs to life.
Most designs seen here at PEKO are usually in need of design treatment. Whether it’s updating the CAD models, verifying a BOM, or creating a custom test fixture, PEKO is prepared. The goal of the mechanical engineering services team is to ensure your project is given the best treatment so that functionality, cost, and manufacturability are all optimized and within spec.
