Production Repair Technician


SUMMARY: The primary function of the PRODUCTION REPAIR TECHNICIAN is to troubleshoot, repair, and provide maintenance for various manufacturing machines. The PRODUCTION REPAIR TECHNICIAN is responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical problems that occur.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • Time management
  • Performance management

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify and troubleshoot problems for successful repair.
  • Controls downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of FANUC controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulic equipment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • 3+ years with mechanical / electrical repair of machines.
  • Associates degree in technical / skilled trade preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to climb, lift, bend, and twist.
