SUMMARY: The expeditor monitors and advances the manufacturing process to ensure production schedules are on track for 100% on-time delivery.

REPORTS TO: Planning Manager

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Expedite orders and assist to resolve issues during the production process
  • Coordinate with Program Planners to communicate prioritization of production schedules
  • Create purchase orders, manage and direct suppliers
  • Direct material handling tasks such as physical movement of parts, components, or tools as necessary
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with AS9100 / ISO13485

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a complex work environment
  • Positive attitude and infectious desire to meet objectives
  • Ability to work with limited direction, ability to problem solve on the fly

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • GED/High School or equivalent
  • Previous production/manufacturing experience helpful.
